NO EXPERT AT LOVE...
I am no expert at relationships and love, but I have learnt a lot. And most people probably know this or have heard something similar to this, but I thought I would share my thoughts.
Relationships need work, constant work. It is a never ending cycle of ups and downs, and WORK.
The love which exists between two people can just not be enough; however, the love is like glue which is used when keeping a relationship together when you are doing the work.
If you love someone, and I mean truly love someone, no matter how bad the fight is, how loud the screaming gets or how far your partner drives you, if that glue which you have been working on is strong enough, it will hold you together.
One does need to be careful though because when those arguments come up and when there are disagreements then there are things which can break the glue down, which makes it weaker, things such as a simple sentence, an action or ignorance. Words can cause the deepest cuts in a relationship, it can break that glue called love down. Actions such as raising your hands to your partner or inflicting pain upon yourself can wipe the glue away. And when nothing is done and all is ignored, it simply eats the glue away.
When the words: “I love you...”are used, they should be used with the deepest meaning, it should be unconditional love. No matter what, you should love that person unconditionally and you should constantly be working on that glue which keeps the relationship together.
