This year for my birthday I decided to celebrate by having
drinks and snacks at the house with mates and then venturing to the new SOHO
nightclub that opened on the 17th of December in Boksburg.
Just the photos online had us all excited about seeing the
club.
Despite the distance from Sandton to the club we all set off
in convoy to SOHO, and upon arrival, just by the look of the amount of cars
parked outside I knew it was going to be a good night.
We had VIP access for the evening, which allowed us access
to the top level of the club, which was refreshingly cooled down by aircons,
and we could look down at the dance floor and kind of gain our bearings.
The club’s layout is absolutely awesome, with a bridge that
goes over the dance floor with a podium looking over the crowed and the design
and layout of the bars you could clearly see that a lot of thought and effort
has been put into this new venue.
The dance floor was a bit HOT but that would have been a given
for any club on this evening as the afternoon was a scorcher, however, we were
able to cool off upstairs.
The music was also great, really enjoyed the tunes that kept
the crowed glued to the floor for hours.
And the male and female dancers were an absolute hit… Need I
say more…
All in all it was a great evening and everyone had a fantastic
jol! Will definitely be heading there again in the future!
As for my birthday, I am a bit nackered after 3 days of
celebrating with mates but now it is time to wind down and do movies and some
extreme sports, you know, get the adrenaline pumping!
