Leg days...

I have to admit that I am not the best when it comes to training legs, and would much rather train arms, but it has to be done.

Legs is one of the largest muscles, and they release a large amount of testosterone when they are trained, so I firmly believe and use this fact to motivate myself that when one trains legs, it assists the rest of your body to grow.

Our leg training usually starts off with a warm up of seated leg extensions, usually 4 sets, each consisting of 20 reps, starting off with a relative light weight and moving up to a heavier weight.

This is usually followed by squats, still sticking to relatively light weights, 4 sets and 20 reps each.

We will then do reverse lunges using the smith machine, this is the machine that has a straight bar that is supported by a track on either side for support; once again doing 4 sets of 20 reps each, still sticking to light weights... Most of our exercises are light weight for that matter, it really does help with muscle growth contrary to what most people believe.

After the reversed lunges we will do normal lunges followed by leg presses, once again, 4 sets, each consisting of 20 reps and then we end off with a super calve workout on the calve raises machine, doing a drop set starting at about 90kg dropping down to 30kg, only about 3 sets of these...

Once all of this is done, believe me, your buggered!
